The Liquid Facelift

The Liquid Facelift

The liquid, non surgical facelift is a revolutionary alternative to a surgical facelift. Results can be seen in less than 1 hour, with no recuperation time and no invasive surgery is required.

Both Men and Women are excellent candidates for this type of treatment. Men tend to like subtle improvements that make them look more refreshed and youthful while most woman look for immediate changes after treatment.

The liquid facelift offers a non-surgical method of correcting facial volume loss and creating a refreshed more youthful appearance. The results are comparable to a surgical facelift but without the cost, invasive surgery or recovery time.

At Revitalize each patient will be seen by our Cosmetic Doctor and Advanced Aesthetic Expert, and a tailored treatment plan will be developed in order to meet individual Aesthetic goals.

Young women or men in their late 30’s or early 40‘s who are just starting to see the signs of aging, but who are not yet candidates for a surgical facelift.

People who are in really good shape but with very little body fat who sometimes tend to look slightly older because of the lack of fat in their face.

People who have had a facelift in the past, who do not look as youthful as they could, because the facelift did not address the age related volume loss or the loss of skin elasticity.

What products are used for Liquid Facelifts?

Any injectable filler can be used for a Liquid Facelift such as Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus, or Radiesse. However, the longest lasting product for global facial volume replacement is Sculptra (a Bio-Stimulator).

What is the downtime for a Liquid Facelift?

There is little or no downtime associated with this type of procedure. Occasionally some bruising and/or swelling may appear following treatment, however this normally clears within a few days to a and can easily be disguised with make-up or tinted moisturiser

Will I have a bruise after a Liquid Facelift?

Some patients may suffer from light bruising however, this can normally be covered with makeup or tinted moisturiser.
We would always advise patients to schedule a Liquid Facelift at least 2 weeks prior to any special engagements (wedding, christening, party etc) in order for everything to settle and for your new look to be perfected.

How much discomfort is associated with a Liquid Facelift?

There is very little discomfort during a Liquid Facelift. A topical numbing medication can be applied to the area before the injection if desired; however, this is not required. In addition, there is a numbing medication in the injectable fillers, and therefore the injection itself makes you temporarily numb.

A small percentage of patients complain of a mild ache for a day or two after the Liquid Facelift. This is easily controlled with over the counter pain relief medication from your local pharmacy.
